You’re eligible to apply for PSLF if you have a loan that is eligible and you have made 120 qualifying installments on that loan. You may be able to apply for PSLF after only making 10 qualifying loans, however, the application must be filed prior to the 10 years that begin your repayment period.
You don’t have to apply for PSLF from the very beginning of your repayment period. You have the option of waiting until you’ve paid 120 payments prior to filing for it.
